SASANIAN KINGS. Ardashir I. (224-240 AD). Æ Tetradrachm (17.14 gm; 29 mm). Obverse; bust to the right with coronation crown, reverse, fire altar without attendants. Gobl IV/Ia, No date as usual. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Nice brown-reddish patina. Choice Good VF. Rare.
