SASANIAN KINGS, Ardashir I, (224-240 AD). Æ (3.57 gm; 16 mm). Sunrise -. Ardashir I, with Parthian crown, obverse, Ardashir's bust turning right, reverse, stand alone fire altar. Rare in any condition with a large dot to the left of the base. Nice brown reddish patina. Choice aEF.
