ROMAN EMPIRE. Divus Marcus Aurelius 161-180 AD. Æ Sestertius (22.45 gm; 31 mm). Rome, after AD 180. DIVVS M AN-TONINVS PIVS, bare head of Divus Marcus Aurelius right / CONSECRATIO, eagle standing right on globe, head left, wreath in beak; S-C flanking globe. RIC III (Commodus) 655. Well struck on a nice full flan. Some smoothing and light tooling on the field. Dark original green patina. Choice aEF. Rare.
