Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right, name and title in Pahlavi "apdwla-i zubiran amīr-i -wurrishnikān" meaning "Abdullah ibn Zubayr, Commander of faithfulls or believers", phrase "Bismillah" on the second quarter, triple dots flanking the crescent and star at 6 o'clock, reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint "DA" (Darabgird) on the right and letter "P" between the left attendants and fire altar for city of Fasa which was a dependency of Darbgird, year 60 on the left, large dot at 12 o'clock.
