TABERISTAN; Khurshid, (115-142 AH). AR Hemidrachm (2.11 gm; 25 mm). Obverse; Sasanian bust to the right, name in Pahlavi in front of face, phrase APD in Pahlavi in the second quarter. Reverse: fire altar with attendants, mint “TPURASTN (Tabaristan)” on the right, date: year 94. Album 52. Choice FDC. Lightly toned and lustrous.
