Aurelian (270-275). Ae 'As' or Double Aurelianus. Ae 25 mm. 6.1 gm. Serdica mint. Obv: SOL DOMINVS IMPERI ROMANI. Bare-headed and draped bust of Sol right. Rev: AVRELIANVS AVG CONS. Aurelian standing left, holding sceptre and sacrificing with patera over lighted altar. RIC V online 2663; RIC 319. Very rare.
