EXTREMELY RARE collective edition of the writings of this humanist from Bergamo trained at the Ravizza school and then custodian of the Vatican Apostolic Library. Condemned and arrested as a "wandering monk" by Pope Paul IV, he died locked up in Castel S. Angelo. A commemorative plaque is located in the entrance of the civic Angelo Mai library.
