PALMYRENE. Palmyra (?). Pseudo-autonomous issue, circa 2nd-early 3rd centuries AD. Ae (bronze, 0.47 g, 10 mm). Draped bust of Athena or Roma to right, wearing crested helmet. Rev. Ram leaping right, head to left and raising forepaw; to upper left, crescent. Unpublished; cf Leu 18, lot 2203 (ram to left). Good fine. Very rare.
