Description
KUSHAN EMPIRE. Vima Kadphises, circa 113-127 AD. Ae tetradrachm (bronze, 16.98 g, 28 mm), main mint in Begram. Vima Kadphises standing facing, head left, sacrificing over altar to left; trident to left, tamgha and club to right. Rev. Siva standing facing, holding trident in right hand; behind, the bull Nandi standing right; Buddhist triratana to left. MK 762; ANS Kushan 274-99. Somewhat rough, otherwise nearly very fine.
