SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Antiochos III 'the Great', 223-187 BC. Ae (bronze, 4.14 g, 17 mm). Military mint in Coele-Syria. Macedonian shield with facing gorgoneion in central boss. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑNΤΙΟΧΟΥ Elephant walking to right; anchor above. SC 1089; HGC 9, 490. Very fine.
