KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III the Great, 336-323 BC. Tetradrachm (silver, 16.00 g, 31 mm), Aspendos. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; AΣ / KC in left field, spear head left in exergue; c/m: anchor within rectangular incuse. Price 2907. Very fine.
