SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Vespasian, 69-79. Tetradrachm (silver, 15.13 g, 26 mm). ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑ ΟΥΕϹΠΑϹΙΑΝΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΟϹ Laureate head of Vespasian to right. Rev ΕΤΟΥϹ ΝΕΟΥ ΙΕΡΟΥ Γ Eagle with spread wings standing left on club, holding wreath in beak; palm frond to left. McAlee 346; Prieur 124; RPC II 1955. Good very fine.
