Description
SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Pseudo-autonomous issue, 1st century BC. Dichalkon (bronze, 3.88 g, 16 mm). Turreted, draped, and veiled bust of Tyche right. Rev. ANTIOXEΩΝ ΤΗΣ / [ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩΣ] Tripod-lebes containing three laurel branches; monogram to left, date below. HGC 9, 1374. Very fine.
