Description
KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III the Great, 336-323 BC. Fourrée Drachm (silvered bronze, 3.49 g, 17 mm). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus Aëtophoros seated left, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle in his right. Nearly very fine.
