Description
SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos IV Philopator, 187-175 BC. Ae serrate (bronze, 7.53 g, 19 mm), Antioch. Draped bust of Dionysos to right, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit, thyrsos over his left shoulder. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Filleted prow to left; above, monogram. SC 1316. Very fine.
