Description
SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Antiochos IV Epiphanes, 175-164 BC. Ae (bronze, 3.28 g, 15 mm). Uncertain mint, possibly Dura-Europus. Radiate and diademed head right. Rev. BAΣΙΛΕΩΣ ANTIOXΟΥ ΘEOY [E]ΠIΦAN[OYΣ] Apollo seated left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting left hand on grounded bow. SC 1434. Nearly very fine. Rare.
