Maurice Tiberius, 582-602. Decanummium (lead, 1.49 g, 10 mm), Italian mint. Crowned and cuirassed bust of Maurice Tiberius facing, franked by two crosses. Rev. Large I between two crosses; all within wreath. C. Morrisson, "Monnaies en plomb byzantines", RIN LXXXIII (1981), 13. Very rare emergency issue, copying issues of Ravenna, SB 472. Fine.
