KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Tetradrachm (silver, 16.37 g, 26 mm), Babylon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev. [BAΣIΛEΩΣ] AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre; M to left, ΛY above throne. Price 3692. Very fine.
