KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III the Great, 336-323 BC. Tetradrachm (silver, 14.38 g, 27 mm). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, monograms. Very fine.
