PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy III Euergetes, 246-222 BC. Tetradrachm (silver, 13.01 g, 29 mm), Ptolemais (Ake) mint. Diademed head right, wearing aegis around neck; c/m. Rev. Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; monograms to left; [date to right]. Nearly very fine.
