ISLANDS off CARIA. Kos. 4th century BC. Ae (bronze, 11.88 g, 24 mm), Aristion (?), magistrate. Laureate head of Apollo right. Rev. Kithara of three strings, KΩIΩN upwards to left, APIΣT[IΩN]? upwards to right; all within wreath. BMC 170-6 var (magistrate); SNG Copenhagen 665-8 var (magistrate). Repatinated, fine. Very rare.
