PF66 CAM | Elizabeth II (1952-), cupro-nickel proof Halfcrown, 1953, Coronation issue, young laureate head right, initials M G on truncation for designer Mary Gillick, Latin legend and beaded border surrounding, +ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA BRITT: OMN: REGINA, rev. struck en medaille, crowned square-topped shield dividing E R cypher, toothed border and legend surrounding, FID. DEF. HALF CROWN, edge milled (Davies 2311, dies 2/A; S.4137). Bright and reflective, an excellent example, graded by NGC as PF66 CAMEO.

NGC certification 6321545-004.

The Latin legends translate on obverse as "Elizabeth the Second, by the grace of God, Queen of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
