Australia, Edward VII (1901-1910), gold Half Sovereign, 1910, Sydney Mint, bare head right, De S. below truncation for engraver George W De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:, rev. St George slaying the dragon with sword, broken lance to lower left, edge milled, (Marsh 525; S.3977B). Extremely fine example, retains near full mint lustre, appealing orange tone.

Calendar Year Mintage 474,000.The Latin legend on obverse translates as "Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India".
