g Victoria (1837-1901), gold currency 4-coin Set, 1887, comprising Five Pounds, Two Pounds, Sovereign (Melbourne mint), and Half Sovereign; Jubilee bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:, rev. St. George and the Dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue for designer Benedetto Pistrucci / crowned shield within wreath, edges milled, 40.04, 16.00, 8.00 & 4.00g respectively (S.3864, 3865, 3867B, 3869). All very fine to extremely fine with good residual lustre, Two Pounds once polished, some toning in Sovereign fields, see photos.
