Immense quality for this classic 20th century Chinese Dollar, with delicate tone over both sides that becomes bolder at the edges and strong luster in the fields that surpasses the majority of examples seen. In addition, the strike is rather pleasing for the type, with admirable sharpness in the globe motif, and just a touch of softness in some of the peripheral characters. Signs of handling are few and far between and overall, the surfaces seem to exceed the standards of the MS-61 grade. A real opportunity for the elite type collector as such!
