1.26 gms. S-1337; N-952/2. Cross and Crosslets (Tealby) type; class A2. Obverse: Crowned bust facing, holding cruciform scepter; Reverse: Cross pattee, with small saltire cross pattee in each angle. Always encountered rather rough, the Tealby series is notorious for poor strikes on oblong, irregular flans. Nevertheless, despite its details designation, a solid representation of this king famous for his portrayal in The Lion in Winter.
