Dav-3254; KM-148. Tied for second finest certified of the Davenport number with only 1 other example on either the NGC or PCGS population reports only surpassed by 1 other (NGC MS 63). The piece exhibits a bold detailed strike with nearly complete design features and lustrous surfaces. The devices on the obverse are accentuated by pervasive tone with richer colors in the protected areas, while the reverse displays a soft golden grey tone throughout. A lovely and wholesome example that is pleasing to the eye that clearly sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed.
