SC-202.2a; Pr-3889; HGC-9, 9e. In the name and types of Alexander III (the Great) of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, monogram above forepart of horse grazing left; below throne, monogram above strut. Brilliant and flashy, this bold example, struck on a somewhat oblong flan, features only very light, even wear.
