1853 Silver Three-Cent Piece. MS-66+ (PCGS). CAC.
Essentially fully brilliant, only the most subtle golden tones can be found on the reverse with persistence. The surfaces are remarkably consistent with a decidedly satin texture and strong cartwheel luster. Boldly struck with excellent definition of the shield elements and most stars with defined centers. A premium high-grade example that would serve well in a type set.
