Indian Peace Medals
"1801" Thomas Jefferson Indian Peace Medal. 20th Century Restrike. By Robert Scot. Julian IP-3. Bronze. Mint State, Lacquered.
76 mm. Warm and inviting medium golden-bronze patina and a satiny finish point to an early 20th century striking. There is a fine layer of residue on both sides, with some build up in the protected areas around the design elements, but the surfaces are free of detracting marks. A few light spots are scattered about, including one near Jefferson's shoulder.
