(1975) A10 Nominating Committee For the Nobel Prize in Science Medal. Gold. 26 mm. 20.1 grams. Specimen-61 (PCGS).
Obv: Bust of Alfred Nobel left, his name to left, vital dates to right Rev: Winged Swedish crest, radiant star above, "REG. ACAD. SCIENT. SVEC." below, above which are privy marks and the date designator "A10". Medium olive-gold surfaces are smooth and satiny overall with brighter gold revealed as a result of light, wispy handling marks. A visually impressive example that presents better than the stated grade might suggest. This is the second of three Nominating Committee medals from the Estate of Lars Ernster, noted Swedish researcher of the physiology and biochemistry of mitochondria.
