Contemporary Counterfeit English Farthing
1773 Contemporary Counterfeit English Farthing. George III Type--Double Struck--Choice Very Fine.
42.4 grains. The second pass through the coining chamber was about 30% off center, with two full and bold dates visible on the reverse. Obverse die exhibits a comet-like streak of die spalling to left of George's head. Dark brown and glossy, with a few surface marks.
