A delightfully original specimen with warm golden-rose centers and vivid iridescent cobalt and sea green peripheries. This popular bold overdate retains complete luster under the toning and displays smooth, inviting surfaces with no marks of any consequence. Sharply defined overall, the denticles are weak on the left side of the obverse due to a trivially off center strike. A scarce and desirable Mint State coin from the early Capped Bust half dollar series. A fantastic opportunity for the collector focused on quality and originality.
