Capped Bust Half Dollar
1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-116. Rarity-1. Small Date, Small Letters. MS-65 (PCGS).
A beautiful, colorfully toned Gem with intense cartwheel luster swirling over well preserved surfaces. Both sides are an attractive mix of rose-gray, vivid blue, and olive-green, the surfaces with a pleasing satin to frosty texture. There are no abrasions worthy of note, and no other distractions to impair the impressive visual appeal. Some modest weakness of strike is seen in the usual places, but the overall attributes of this coin are undeniably Gem Mint State. A desirable example of the date or type, and likely a condition census example of the die marriage.
