Engraved Coins, Love Tokens, and Coin Jewelry

Love Token Fashioned out of an 1876-Dated Liberty Seated Half Dollar.

The reverse of the host coin has a very ornately engraved border, with the raised letters SAM, made of gold and on a gold disc, added to the center. The coin is hanging from a gold crescent shaped bar with the name FRANCES enameled in cobalt blue, with an intricate border. The pin of the original pinback on the hanger bar is broken. The coin itself is gold washed or gold plated. A very ornate and beautiful love token example.
