Draped Bust Cent

1798 Draped Bust Cent. S-178. Rarity-5+. Reverse of 1795. Good-6, Porous.

A classic 1798 rarity and, although not often described as such, a distinct major variety as the only Sheldon number combining a Style II Hair obverse with the Reverse of 1795. Notoriously difficult to find in decent condition, this slightly porous yet glossy dark brown piece is an above average survivor.
