Lot of (2) CC-7 & CC-98. Continental Currency. May 10, 1775. $7 & $55. PMG About Uncirculated 50 & Choice About Unc 58.
A lightly handled pair of Continentals from both the first issue and the last. Both examples have sold signatures, good centering, and excellent detail. The $55 note has earned the comment of Pinholes, of which there are just a couple. A number of recent auctions have solidified demand in this long underappreciated field.
