Jones-Littlefield TC 10-02. Hoyer & Ludwig. Richmond, Va. "Straight Steam" locomotive pulling passenger cars with steamship in background at center. "FIFTY CENTS" in each end panel. A rare note from this Charlottesville Civil War issue. The vignette at center is the same as is featured on the T-39 $100 Confederate note. There was a May and August issues, with this note from the former. Just honest wear on this very scarce note.
