Tibet
CHINA. Tibet. Srang, BE 15-43 (1909). Dode Mint. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield.
L&M-656; KM-Y-12. A superb example of this popular and highly elusive issue, featuring minimal tone over the surfaces and designs that are boldly and evenly struck. Perhaps conservatively graded, the only appearance of possible friction appears on the lion, and the fields remain free from marks with an exceptional frosty-white appearance. Although not the finest graded example seen, a coin that deserves placement among the finest seen, as the qualities on display often go unmatched on even higher graded specimens.
Estimate: $ 6000.00 - 9000.00
