A wholesome and nicely preserved error coin with more than enough detail to positively attribute the reverse die to the extremely rare copper-nickel trial issues of which only about four examples are known to exist, three in private collections and one in the collection of the Shanghai museum. Clearly after the trial run the dies were placed into full production being utilized for currency issues. This rather charming survivor offers much originality displaying lovely rich mottled chocolate and mocha patina with brighter coloration on the highest points of the rims adding to its pleasing appearance. An interesting example sure to excite many academic collectors certain to add depth to the next collection it enters.

品相完整，狀態良好。反面模具細節充足，因此可判斷此銅鎳試鑄幣的版別。存世已知僅有四枚，其中三枚屬私人珍藏，另一枚收藏於上海博物館中。在試鑄後，模具正式投入生產流通版。原始度高，極美的一枚。醇厚動人的巧克力及摩卡棕色包漿，邊緣高鑄處色澤較明亮，更添雅意。饒有趣味的一枚，定能吸引學者藏家將其納入藏中。
