A virtually pristine condition rarity dressed in a bold array of steely-bronze, golden-apricot, reddish-russet and silver-olive patina. Further adorned with billowy mint frost and smartly impressed design elements, this coin would serve as a highlight in the finest Washington quarter set. One of the highest graded survivors from this mintage of 18.5 million pieces, it is tied with only one other coin in the top grade from NGC, and none rank finer. Additionally, PCGS has yet to certify a single 1953 quarter finer than MS-67+. An irresistible offering for advanced Washington quarter specialists.
