1906 Liberty Head Nickel. Proof-67+ Cameo (PCGS). CAC.

A virtually pristine Superb Gem with the lightest iridescent gold toning that appears to drift toward the borders. Most viewing angles reveal an untoned coin, allowing bold field to device contrast to shine forth powerfully. With a mintage of just 1,725 pieces, the Proof 1906 is a scarce issue by Liberty Head nickel standards. As well, the vast majority of survivors are neither as expertly preserved nor as boldly contrasted between fields and devices as this remarkable specimen. One of the finest examples of the issue that we can ever recall offering and a coin that is worthy of the strongest bids. Lovely!
