Diameter: 40mm. Produced in Bangalore. Obverse: Elephant standing on platform with crossed rifles, PERSEVERE & TRIUMPH below; Reverse: Wreath, inscribed 2ND BN / MIDDLESEX REGT / WINNERS / DEWARE SHIELD / 1924 / C.S.M. S.COX. A well struck Medal with somewhat matte-like surfaces and light gray toning throughout.
