One of the more available dates from this mint, the quality is better than normally encountered. We have 13 documented examples of this date with three different crown varieties. The countermark is boldly applied on a nicely preserved host displaying lovely mottled gray patina with areas of richer coloration and a slight iridescent sheen that pops out when rotating in the light.
