1951-D Washington Quarter. MS-68 (NGC).
Dusted with pale sandy-gold iridescence, both sides are highly lustrous with a satin to softly frosted finish from the dies. Sharply struck, as well, with expertly preserved surfaces that border on numismatic perfection. For the collector assembling a top flight Washington quarter collection on the NGC Set Registry, the significance of this offering for the 1951-D can hardly be overstated.
