The Two Dollar notes of both the 1890 and this 1891 series of Treasury Notes are quite difficult and often more challenging to locate in appealing grades than either the Five or $10 notes. This example is offered in an attractive About Uncirculated grade, offering creamy white paper and jet black design details. At right is a portrait vignette of General McPherson whilst an ornate left end is noticed with multiple counters.
