Obverse: Laureate bust of Melkart right, with drapery tied around neck; Reverse: Eagle standing left on prow; palm frond behind; to left, LΔ (date) above downward club; Phoenician B and monogram between legs. Very well centered and alluringly toned, this early date specimen presents light gray surfaces with some golden-cabernet hues further accentuating the devices.
