CORINTHIA. Corinth. AR Stater (8.60 gms), ca. 345-307 B.C. NGC Ch EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5. Die Shift.
HGC-4, 1848; Pegasi-453; BCD Corinth-Unlisted. Obverse: Pegasos flying left; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left; [Δ to lower left]; to right, I and Artemis advancing left, holding torch in each hand. A very attractive example, this specimen is coated in luster and has only light wear on the high points. A die shift gives Athena an interesting, slightly doubled look.
