Pr-697. In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne decorated with Nikai, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, trident head left; below throne, monogram below strut. A SCARCE and seldom encountered civic issue, this example yields a rather deep cabinet tone with charming centering.
