PELOPONNESOS. Elis. Olympia. AR Hemidrachm (2.71 gms), "Hera" Mint, ca. 340-332 B.C (110th-112th Olympiad). NGC Ch VF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5.
HGC-5, 448; BCD Olympia-195 (same dies). Obverse: Head of Olympia left; Δ (artist's signature) below; Reverse: Eagle standing left; to right, FA above grape bunch on vine. This choice minor is very strongly struck and centered quite well on the small flan that bears an attractive blue tone. Some roughness is noted in the fields, but this does not interfere with any of the design elements.
